Carol Hobson has always loved design, and after working in the field for over 20 years, she needed an outlet for her own creative passions. So, Amazing Interiors was born.

Managing Director
Since moving to Howick from South Africa in 1986, Carols career began, opening the iconic interiors shop, Biggie Best. Carol’s passion for interiors evolved over the years, pioneering as a market leader, selling her store and founding Amazing interiors in 2003, where she beautifully staged homes for sale. This started out of her garage and quickly grew to 3 large warehouses full of bespoke design pieces. Now alongside home staging, Amazing Interiors have two retail stores; showcasing the premium Artisan Chalk Paint range as well as running a variety of workshops, Interior Design services and window furnishing. Carol is passionate about every aspect of her business, and her real love is working with clients, curtain furnishings and Interior decorating. Carol’s trend forecasting and selective buying has kept Amazing Interiors forefront in the everchanging fashion industry with beautiful sought-after quality items.
Amazing Interiors were extremely proud to have won the world-renowned International Property Awards, with the category prize of Asia Pacific last year.
Showroom Manager, Senior Interior Designer
Mieke brings to Amazing Interiors 30 years of spatial and Interior Design industry experience. She delivers beautiful visual interior strategies with colours, floral art, clever furniture placement and décor to her clients.
Coupled with multiple virtual merchandising awards, she is sure to be able to create your own personal design vision woven in with her signature "wow factor".
Marketing and Events Manager, Interior Design Consultant
Wearing multiple hats, Sarah develops, implements and executes all graphics, content writing, marketing, social media and advertising for Amazing Interiors. Sarah also integrates her creative flair and operational skills through orchestrating events and workshops as the Events Manager.
Additionally, Sarah is an Interior Design Consultant. Spatial design, mixing accessories, tones and textures to create a harmonious atmosphere is an absolute passion of Sarah’s. With qualifications and a background in home staging and interior design, she has developed her craft and has a distinctive style whilst implementing thoughtful consideration of lifestyle, space and functionality.
Stock Management & Control
Srijana has been apart of the Amazing Interiors team for numerous years, working in many facets of the business before landing her role in stock management from home staging to the retail stores.
With 5 years of interior design experience and a bachelor in Interior Design, Srijana moved to New Zealand from Nepal. She now thoroughly enjoys being surrounded by beautiful interior pieces, as well as assisting clients in the chalk paint workshops.
Senior Design Consultant
With over two decades of industry expertise, Dee is a versatile interior design specialist who excels in various roles, including working with interior design clients, providing paint color consultations, and merchandising. Her journey began as a founding home stager at Amazing Interiors. Now, on Sundays, she shares her insights with customers at the Picton Street showroom, guiding them in realising their interior design aspirations.
Dee is a trusted consultant, renowned for delivering exceptional interior design solutions. She serves a dedicated clientele, transforming living spaces into truly extraordinary environments.

General Manager
Armed with fifteen years experience working in the interior design and home staging industry, Nora brings a wealth of expertise all while leading and bringing out the best in creating a thriving team environment.
With a genuine understanding of what motivates buyers, Nora's long standing relationships with agents and developers; combined with a keen passion of interior design, has enabled Nora to effectively manage the home staging team with professionalism and an exceptional outcome.
Nora is excited about growing the home staging business further and strives to provide an amazing experience in home staging and customer service, Auckland wide.
Head Interior Stylist
Demonstrating diverse industry knowledge, over the past six years Sheenae has been a valued member of the Amazing Interiors team. Before motherhood Sheenae worked as Show Home Manager, she now can be found enhancing and staging beautiful properties for sale all over Auckland as a talented Interior Sylist.
With a diploma in interior design and a history styling on location for interior magazine shoots, she comes highly recommended. Creative and passionate about the industry, Sheenae thoroughly enjoys watching how culture influences design.
Interior Stylist
Continuously keeping her pulse on the fashion industry, Greta’s love of fashion resonates through her interior styling.
An exceptional colourist with a natural talent for harmonizing any home; Her styling projects are a true representation of her personality and meticulous attention to detail.
With a background in HR Greta’s client focused approach has fostered client satisfaction, building strong, long-lasting relationships.
Born in Lithuania, Greta's heritage has influenced her strong European flare.

An award-winning designer and florist, Lisa’s gifted flare and flamboyant personality translates into her signature style; which comes teamed with over 20 years of specialised skills in the industry. Born in Persia, her design style is influenced by her upbringing, as well as years of international experience working in the field.
Lisa’s expertise in colour consulting, dressing premium homes, utilising her creative styling flare, high-end furniture and carefully curated accessories are proven to achieve the optimum selling price.
Interior Stylist
Boasting a diploma in Interior Design, Yolande’s passion and drive for interiors is apparent in her ability to enhance the best features in a space, using her keen eye for detail to positively impact clients lives. Yolande's love for interiors and architecture developed whilst traveling, recognising a formula and was intrigued how colour influenced mood.
Yolande’s communication skills and unwavering standard of service, consistently going the extra mile is apparent in all of her work leading to exceptional results.
Interior Stylist
Nadine is an exceptional design professional with international qualifications and experience working for an award winning architecture firm. Nadine fell in love with furniture, textiles and the expressive layers of interior design and shifted her design approach to interiors. Her passion for growth and development inspires her to constantly seek out new challenges and utilize her skills to deliver excellent results.
Nadine puts great thought into every styling decision she makes, utilizing her creative expertise to ensure that each property stands out from the rest.
